An implant replaces a missing tooth with a titanium post in the jaw and a ceramic crown on top. At Crossbank the whole journey stays in one practice: Dr Tinn plans the case digitally and makes the final crown, and placement is carried out by Dr Neil Cooper at the same address. No travelling to a different clinic for the surgical stage, and no gap in communication between the people doing each part.
For patients coming from across the South Lakes and further into Cumbria, treatment is planned to make each visit count. Implant treatment runs over several months to let the implant settle, but the number of actual visits is modest and each one is booked well ahead.
